Quadrantid Meteor from the South Hemisphere

The Quadrantids are a meteor shower for North Hemisphere observers, however with some luck, a few meteors can be seen from the South Hemisphere.

I took this photo from 35 degrees south. The Quads have a very narrow peak and this year it was at 4am local time. The radiant in Bootes was just above the horizon at that time from my location.

The bright fireball was also seen visually but there's a second very faint meteor just above the bright one that the camera captured and I couldn't see with my eyes.

Coma Berenices should be easy to recognize towards the left of the image.
