Pointers to Crux

The southern constellation of Crux is below the pointers: Alpha and Beta Centauri shining above the typical landscape of the Argentinian steppes.

You can recognize the globular cluster Omega Centauri, the brightest in the sky.

The reddish area above the hills is the lambda centauri nebula.

The Coalsack nebula is next to Crux as a dark patch of dust in the Milky Way.
